How it Began
The project began with a question: What if heritage could guide us into the future? Inspired by coastal culture, Nordic traditions, and the quiet wisdom of nature, we envisioned a place where old rituals meet new ways of living. Sauna, fire, food, and storytelling are not luxuries here, but timeless practices that anchor us to what matters most.
Lyra North is more than a destination — it is a response to the times we live in. In a world full of noise and acceleration, we create spaces where presence becomes possible again. Rooted in Nordic nature and heritage, Lyra North is a sanctuary for simplicity, silence, and meaningful connection.
Our philosophy is conscious presence — arriving fully, here and now. Nature sets the rhythm, heritage is our compass, and community becomes the strength that carries us forward.
What We Create
Our spaces will include sauna and bathing rituals, creative ateliers, sleeping cabins, and communal rooms where food, stories, and stillness are shared. Each space is small in scale, built with care for landscape, materials, and tradition.
An Invitation
The name Lyra comes from the constellation that has guided travelers for centuries. Just as the stars offered direction at sea, we believe heritage and nature can guide us toward presence and belonging today.
A journey in the making — a meeting between tradition and tomorrow. We invite you to follow along as we build a place shaped by the raw beauty of the North, where every stay is an opportunity to slow down and reconnect.
The People Behind
Our team consists of collective of creators, builders, and storytellers who share a belief in the timeless wisdom of nature and heritage. We are architects, photographers, artists, and local craftsmen, working side by side to shape spaces that are both humble and profound. Each person brings their own craft — from designing cabins and saunas to cultivating food traditions and preserving old building techniques — yet together we are united by one vision: to create a place where presence, simplicity, and belonging can come alive.
Our Values
Presence — to arrive fully in the moment, listening to nature’s rhythm and our own.
Heritage — to carry forward the timeless wisdom of coastal culture and rituals that root us in simplicity.
Creativity — to explore, express, and share what arises when we give space to silence and imagination.
Community — to build relationships shaped by care, generosity, and shared experience.
Nature — to live close to the elements, learning again that the sea, the wind, and the fire are teachers.
